Easy Chocolate Bouquet Ideas
Since it is readily personalized based on type and flavour preference, chocolate is one of the best gift ideas for any occasion.
Add them to a gift box or make them into this DIY chocolate flower bouquet. This chocolate bouquet with crepe paper uses small wrapped chocolate candies and paper straws as the flower stem. No skewer or florist wire is needed.
Material For Making a DIY Chocolate Bouquet
I use Hershey’s chocolate as it has a pointy end that makes it easy to attach to the straw. The tutorial would be similar to the lollipop flower.
If you use wrapped round chocolate candy, cover it with a cellophane plastic piece or saran wrap, twist the plastic end, stuff the twisted end on the straw, then tape it.
- Crepe paper or streamer, any colour
- Hershey kisses chocolate
- Green paper straw
- Double-sided tape
- Transparent tape
- Scissors
Step By Step Chocolate Bouquet Tutorial
Cut the material into these measurements:
- 48″ crepe paper
- 3″ crepe paper
- 10″ double-sided tape
Note: For larger flower petals, you can cut the material longer than the measurements above.
Put two chocolate candies together using double-sided tape.
Then put the transparent tape around the candy to secure it and keep both candies attached.
Insert the pointy end of the chocolate wrapper into the paper straw. Secure it with transparent tape.
Lay the double-sided tape on a flat surface or the ruler.
Put one end of the long crepe paper on the tape. Fold the crepe paper one at a time resembles a long ruffle.
Wrap around the long ruffle paper tape on the paper straw.
Make sure the chocolate is secure in the middle of the flower.
Press the base of the double-sided tape on the paper straw.
Wrap the 3″ crepe paper around the double-sided tape to cover it.
Tape the crepe paper for the finishing.
Repeat the process to make a bunch of crepe paper chocolate flowers.
Gather these chocolate flowers into a bouquet, then wrap them with ribbon and the bow knot for the finishing touch.
Another option is to pair it with the fabric-wrapped mason jar as the vase or use this Easter bunny mason jar for the Easter gift idea. Also, you can pair it with one of those lovely gifts for mom ideas.
I am a mother and love chocolate so much, and I would be ecstatic to get the chocolate flower bouquet as a gift.
