Supply To Make Paper Plate Watermelon
You can use any size of paper plate. If no paper plate is available, replace it with white paper in a circle shape.
Use red, pink, or lighter red paint for the watermelon. Also, you can use yellow paint instead for the yellow watermelon.
- Red acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint
- Light green acrylic paint
- Dark green acrylic paint
- Paper plate
- Foam brush
- Sharpie marker
Paper Plate Watermelon Tutorial
Pour red paint into the middle of the paper plate.
Spread the red paint to cover the middle part of the paper plate.
Add more red paint as needed. Let the red paint dry.
Next, mix the white and light green paint. Apply this mixture around the red paint near the rim of the plate.
Let the paint dry. Apply the darker green paint around the rim.
Let the darker green paint dry. Draw watermelon seeds by using the Sharpie marker.
Use the scissors to cut the paper plate into several sections that resemble a watermelon slice.
