Easy Confetti Pumpkins Idea For Fall Season

Making confetti pumpkins is one of the fall season activities that only requires minimal tools and timing. Quick and easy to do for a no-carve pumpkin idea.

DIY Confetti Pumpkins

Decorating the fall season with this mini confetti pumpkin idea is much easier than carving a big pumpkin. No tracing of the picture on the pumpkin is required, and it is quick to make.

I used homemade paper confetti I collected a while ago to decorate this mini pumpkin.

Supply To Make Confetti Pumpkin

The mini pumpkin comes in multiple colours. If you can only find the orange mini pumpkin, paint it with the base colour you prefer before applying the glue or Mod Podge.

You can use scissors to make confetti if the hole puncher is unavailable.

  • Mini white pumpkins
  • Colourful construction paper or various colour sticky notes
  • Handheld hole puncher
  • Mod Podge or Elmer glue
  • Paintbrush
  • Foam brush

Confetti Pumpkins Tutorial

Gather paper confetti as much as you want using the colourful paper and hole puncher.

Apply glue or Mod Podge using a paintbrush on the pumpkin.

Apply confetti as soon as possible before the glue dries out.

Continue applying glue or Mod Podge on the pumpkin and paper confetti until the pumpkin surface is covered with confetti.

I only add confetti on the top surface of the pumpkin. You can add more confetti as you prefer.

Let the glue on the pumpkin dry out for 30 minutes to an hour.

Once the glue dries, apply one more coat of Mod Pod using the foam brush over the confetti surface.

Let the Mod Podge on the pumpkin dry out for 30 minutes to an hour.

The DIY confetti pumpkin is ready to display for the fall season decoration.

This no-carve pumpkin idea is much better than cleaning the seeds and stringy parts from the inside when we use a big pumpkin for fall season decor.

Of course, some faux pumpkin is available, but these tiny pumpkins are so adorable, and you can cover them with any confetti colour you like or create a monochrome look.

For an easy Halloween idea, use this candy corn treat bag or change the colour if you want to use it for any other occasion.
